Family Focus Biblical Wisdom for Everyone

First Baptist Owensboro loves families! We desire to see parents pointing their children to Jesus, children pursuing Jesus from an early age, parents discipling their teenagers, and students maturing in the understanding and practice of their faith. These four sessions are designed to offer an opportunity for growth in biblical wisdom for everyone in the home. Join along with other families in March as we seek to grow together.

In this on-demand conference, you’ll receive four video lessons from award-winning parenting author Dr. Paul David Tripp:

Lesson 1

Your children need help, and you are on-site as God’s first responders. Learn how to help your kids with mercy—the same mercy that God has shown you.

Lesson 2

Your children behave poorly because they are lost and in need of direction. Discover how to give them a roadmap for godliness and point them toward Jesus.

Lesson 3

Your children not only need protection from the outside world but from their own foolishness. Learn how to address correct their foolish thoughts and actions.

Lesson 4

Parenting is a process and not an event. Discover how to have conversations and interactions with your children in a way that trusts God’s long-term process of change.

Students

Join us in the Youth Room as we continue our MS & HS Sunday night small groups.  Come early for food and fellowship!

Children

Good fruit is that which is produced by the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us clearly what we must do to bear good fruit. The more we allow the Holy Spirit free rein in our lives, the more this fruit is evident. Children will learn and study the Fruit of the Spirit and how to bear fruit—fruit that will last.

Preschool

During each session, childcare will be provided for birth-5.
