Sports and Christian Life Conference

February 3 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Featuring: Dr. David Prince
The world we live in is consumed with sports. Stadiums, gyms, and arenas are filled with fans. Radio, TV, social media/websites, magazines, and newspapers are dominated by sports talk every day. The passion for their sport is intense for players, parents, coaches, and fans. So, for Christians, what should we think about sports? Are athletic endeavors something worth pursuing? Should we spend our time, energy, and focus on sports? What role should sports play in our and our family’s lives? Can sports be redeemed?
This conference is intended to help Christians wade through these questions and more, seeking to understand God’s perspective from a biblical understanding of sports and their role in the lives of Christians. With the pervasiveness of sports in our culture, the sessions are intended for anyone and everyone…athletes, coaches, parents, grandparents, fans, and all those connected to those who are involved in the sports world.
Dr. David Prince will be the featured speaker for the event. He is the pastor of preaching and vision at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. For more information on Dr. Prince, visit his website: https://www.davidprince.com
